Or stay in and roast some Gower saltmarsh lamb in the Rayburn

http://www.gowersaltmarshlamb.co.uk/

Local Farmers Roland Pritchard and Colin Cabbage deserve a little mention

(Tel: 01792 390012).

Also have a great cold snack at the Dolphin local pub 60 yds from Crosslands Cottage - or dine at Welcome to Town Bistro next to the Dolphin.

They offer Wales's best local specialisty produce of Gower Salt Marsh Lamb, bred on naturally growing saltmarsh grasses, samphire, sorrel, sea lavender, and thrift, found wild upon Landimore/Llanrhidian Marshes. No lamb on earth tastes quite like it. Beautifully packaged by Vicki for the co-ooperative, we eat it ourselves, and it is unbeatable
